How To Make Onion Rice
Ingredients:
- 2-1/2 cups fresh, cooked basmati rice (use good quality rice)
- 3 big onions finely sliced
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 2-3 green chillies chopped (use more if you want spicy rice)
- 2-3 cloves garlic finely minced
- 2-3 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp ghee/oil
- Fresh chopped coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of red-orange food color
- Few brown onions for garnishing
- 1 tbsp ghee (for garnishing)
- Pepper to taste
1.Dissolve ghee in a huge wok.
2.Include green chillies, garlic and mustard seeds. Saute through and through.
3.Blend cut onions and broil proceed work onion turns resplendent in shade.
4.Blend cooked rice, salt, flavors and nourishment color.
5.Pour 1 tbsp of ghee everywhere on and blend great.
6.Keep the blaze medium high and half front the wok.
7.Cook for 2-3 minutes and mix amidst quite deliberately.
8.Determine, you have to keep every last grain of rice divide.
9.Embellish with naturally cleaved coriander and some tan onions.
10.Serve hot with broiled papad, pickle and raita of your decision.
