I am a Huge fan of Balakrishna

These days, Successful Films and Controversies go hand-in-hand! Just at the time when the makers of 'Balupu' have been rejoicing the positive word of mouth their mass entertainer has garnered, it came to their notice about the displeasure of Nandamuri fans over a particular scene in the movie.

In one of the sequences in Balupu, Raviteja is said to have imitated Balakrishna and it came out very well too. Although no direct reference has been made, Fans of the senior hero have been fuming at the film's hero & director as it was more like a satire.

However, Gopichand Malineni clarifies that the makers of 'Balupu' have no intention to degrade anyone. "I am a huge fan of Balakrishna garu. We haven't imitated him in Balupu at all. I personally appeal to the people not to think in a negative manner," states the Director.
