In a shocking incident, Gangster Abu Salem, who is an accused in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, was shot in Taloja central jail on Thursday night. Following the attack from fellow jail inmate Devendra Jagtap who had fired two rounds with a country-made revolver, four cops- including jailer and 3 constables- have been suspended. The investigation is currently going on.

What's interesting? On being asked her reaction, actress-TV presenter Monica Bedi, former girl friend of Abu Salem, says that she has nothing to do with the murder attempt. Monica said, 'I don't want to comment on it as I've got nothing to do with it. Whatever has happened has nothing to do with my life. I'm working and enjoying my life.'

She is currently playing a negative role Guman in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's TV show Saraswatichandra. Monica acted in Telugu films like Taj Mahal with Srikanth and Soggadi Pellam with Mohan Babu and Circus Sattipandu with Ali.
