Crispy Taco Turnovers
Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup diced tomatoes
4 large wheat tortillas
Oil for frying tortillas
Directions
1. Tan together ground hamburger, onion and garlic in an overwhelming griddle over medium warm, blending until meat loses its pinkness.
2. Include salt and bean stew powder, mixing admirably.
3. Place 1/2 glass of the ground meat filling, 1/2 glass shredded cheddar and 1/4 glass diced tomatoes onto one-50% of every tortilla. Fold other half over fillling, pressing it down to evacuate any air pockets.
4. Pour oil into vast skillet to 1/4-inch profundity.
