Chennai: Srm University Will Honour Tamil Scholars
School authorities said the third version of the honors might convey a sum money prize of Rs 20.5 lakh.
The Lifetime Parivendhar Achievement Award, convey a money recompense of Rs 5 lakh, will be given to Tamil researcher Tamizhannal. The Parithimaar Kalaignar Award for the best Tamil researcher might be given to Kovai Gnani. It conveys a money prize of Rs 2 lakh.
The Vipulanandar Award, established not long from now, will be put forth to a writer who has distributed Tamil books abroad. A Muthulingam will be the first to get this recompense for his book titled 'Amerikakkari'. The honor conveys a money prize of Rs 1.5 lakh.

The Valliappa Child Literary Award will be imparted by three creators in the not so distant future. The GU Pope Translation Award will head off to MA Suseela for the book "Asadan" and the Appuswamy Scientific Tamil Award will head off to Mohan Sundararajan for his book 'Nano : the Next Revolution.'
The Anandakumaraswamy Fine Arts Award will head off to Kudavayil Balasubramanian for his book 'Raja Rajecharam,' and the Muthuthandavar Tamil Isai recompense for E Angayarkanni, while the Development Tamil Award will head off to K Jawahar. These honors convey a money prize of Rs 1.5 lakh.
Vice-chancellor of the school M Ponnavaiko said 523 entrances were gained for the 11 recompenses. The best five were shortlisted and coursed around famous researchers to cut down the decision to two. The last decision was made by a board of law specialists.
