So he and the various Savants traveled to Anandpur to meet Siri Guru Teg Bahadur ji! Guru ji benevolent invited them to the house of the Guru. They looked tragic. They let him know of the ghastly things that were going on,

"Sanctuaries are, no doubt, being decimated, even Gurduaras are being crushed. They have gathered an immense heap of Holy Hindu Strings from those who've been murdered or changed over. Who knows what number of us have been murdered. We have done nothing to merit this! Assuming that we don't change over, we will expire as well. At the same time by what method would we be able to surrender our trust?? We have come to you for assistance! Spare us from this disaster... this Hopelessness!!"

Guru ji felt how these kind-hearted men were so troubled. He felt what a troublesome scenario they were in. Just then the Guru's offspring strolled in.

"Hahahaha!"

Gobind Rai was in the ballpark of 8 years of age. He saw the sum of this trouble. He embraced his father and asked,

"Pita ji, why are these kind men so troubled??"

Guru ji replied, "My precious child, the ruler is constraining them to surrender their religion, under risk of demise. There is no closure to their wretchedness."
