Police gets breakthrough in Dilsukhnagar Blasts
Andhra Pradesh police claimed a "breakthrough" in the case of 21 twin bomb blasts in February Dilsukhnagar here and said they were close to nabbing the accused with the help of NIA.
"We know that people who had done that (burst) ... we are in the task of apprehending them. The NIA knows.'re Keeping as closely guarded a secret as a surprise to the accused as provided to us in stopping of them, "director General of Police V Dinesh Reddy told reporters state. "... We have made a breakthrough. Nevertheless, in the interest of the case, I will not reveal more details (at this time)," said Reddy.
Seventeen people were killed and over 100 injured when two explosions took place on 21 February at Dilsukhnagar, a busy shopping area of the city, 100 meters from each other.
After an initial investigation by the Police of Andhra Pradesh, the National Research Agency (ANR) had taken over the case.
