The Villager And The Spectacles
There was clearly a villager. He was illiterate. He were not sure how you can read. He often saw people wearing spectacles for reading books or papers. He thought, "Only have spectacles, I can also read such as these people.
I must go to town and buy a set of spectacles for me." So eventually he visited a major city. He entered a spectacles shop He asked the shopkeeper for a couple of spectacles to read by. The shopkeeper gave him various pairs of spectacles plus a book. The villager tried each of the spectacles one by one.
But he can't read anything. He told the shopkeeper that those spectacles were useless for him. The shopkeeper gave him a doubtful look. Then he viewed the novel. It absolutely was upside down! The shopkeeper said, "You could possibly don't know how to read."
The villager said, "No, I don't. I must buy spectacles so will read like others. However I can't read with some of these spectacles." The shopkeeper controlled his laughter with great difficulty as he learnt the real problem of his illiterate customer. He explained to the villager, "Oh my gosh friend, you are very ignorant. Spectacles don't help read or write.
They simply assist you to see better. Initially you must learn how to read."
