TDP launches web portal for Uttarakhand flood victims
TDP on Wednesday launched website - http://telugudesam.org/chardham to provide important information of stranded pilgrims at different locations in flood ravaged Uttarakhand along with their welfare.
This will assist the families and public to get correct information as well as contribute their might for that relief and rehabilitation activities used up through the party. The portal also uploaded the video and photo coverage of happenings including party President N Chandrababu Naidu's stop by at impacted areas in Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile, NTR Memorial Trust Boss M Venkat said the trust has spent Rs 85 lakh to reach the rescued pilgrims for their destinations. The trust employees contributed one day salary for that rehabilitation with the victims. Many NRIs also came forward and offered donations. The trust will continue relief operations as well as provide treatment for the victims if necessary.
