Naidu tenders apology on 'bizarre' incident
TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday tendered unconditional apology for the 'bizarre' incident where the TDP and Congress MPs almost came to blows during air lifting the pilgrims at Dehradun airport.
To claim credit for the resuce of pilgrims from the state who were stuck in Uttarakhand, the TDP and Congress leaders squabbled in the presence of Naidu on Wednesday. Television channels showed TDP MP Ramesh Rathod and Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao shouting and pushing each other outside the airport . They wanted to fly back the pilgrims to a state first by boarding the pilgrims to their flights. Speaking to newsmen here, he said the incident was avoidable, but 'unfortunate' that it was happened. 'I felt very bad. It was not the time to fight each other. I declared apology for the incident.'
The TDP leader said that his party always stood in front in providing help to Telugu speaking people whoever landed in trouble in other states.
