Merit list of diploma engineering out
AHMEDABAD: The very first merit listing of the diploma engineering admissions after SSC premiered here on Thursday. Student on top of the merit list has 295 out of 300 marks whilst the last student who falls within the Physically Handicapped (PH) category has 75 from 300 marks. There are 126 polytechnic colleges within the state with 66,840 seats that 87334 students had sent applications for admissions.
DC Dave in the Diploma Polytechnic Admission Committee (DPAC) asserted the 7447 students who had filled the forms for admission have never registered themselves yet, so to remain sent SMS alerts to register for admissions.
Officials said that students whose admissions forms are not registered can contact the closest helpline centre and register themselves between 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday.
Last time, 750 students who had applied for admissions in degree engineering courses had not registered themselves or are not registered since they had filled incomplete details within the forms. Such students too were alerted through SMS and directed to complete their registrations.
