Mahesh's Director 3-hour Magic on B-town Babe
It is known that Bollywood's most sought after heroine Sonakshi Sinha was roped to play the female lead in Mahesh Babu's 'Shivam' which would be directed by Krish of 'Gamyam', 'Vedam' and 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' fame. Many of the film buffs have expressed the doubt that why did Sonakshi signed a Telugu project during the period when she was too caught up with her Hindi films. Majority of them opined that the reason could be Superstar Mahesh Babu, but Sona proves all of them wrong. Here is the actual story...
At the time when Krish came to narrate the script of Shivam to Sonakshi, the actress was so sure that she would any how turn down the offer as she has no plans of testing her luck in South when she is going great guns in Bollywood. "I thought I would politely decline the offer. But when Krish gave a brief narration, I got hooked on to it and immediately asked him to tell me everything in detail. After 3 hours, I thought I had to do this film," explained the actress.
Ruling out the chances of shelving the project based on the reports that Mahesh will be busy with his other films for the next one year and Krish is testing his luck in Bollywood with Hindi remake of Chiru's 'Tagore' starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi made it clear 'Shivam' will go on floors in the second half of 2014. The excitement of the actress about the Telugu project shows it's going to be a blockbuster in the offing.
