Once a hare was roaming near a lake within a forest. Suddenly he saw a tortoise and mocked at him saying - "Hurry up, you slow coach! Don't you discover life very dull taking so

very long to cover a few yards? I could have run to another side from the lake right now."

The tortoise felt teased and dared the hare to a race. The race would have been to be with the wood to a fixed goal.
The hare agreed laughingly. During first minutes he was away and away from sight.
"Exactly what a funny race it is!" he was quoted saying to himself, "I am already half -way through. However it is too- freezing why not use a nap within the warm sunshine?"
The tortoise walked steadily all night. Quickly, he went by the sleeping hare.
